Pregnancy Test

How soon can I take the Juliet Pregnancy Test?
You can use this test as early as 5 days before you expect your period to start. For 99% accuracy, test 3 days before your expected period. If you get a negative result and tested more than 3 days before your expected period, there’s a chance you could still be pregnant. Take the test again in a few days. See chart:

One line is darker than the other. What’s the deal?
If you see two lines, even if one is darker than the other, the test is positive. They don’t have to match.

I didn’t see any lines. What’s going on?
The result is invalid if no line appears in the control (C) window or if you only see a test line (T). The test either wasn’t saturated with enough urine or it’s defective or expired. If this happens, let us know and we’ll send you another pack.

My test line is very faint. What’s the deal?
If you see a test line (T) at all, it’s a positive pregnancy result. If the line is very faint, it may be too early to test or your urine could be watered down. Test again in a few days.

Do any factors affect the test result?
A recent pregnancy or miscarriage, including chemical pregnancy can give you a false positive result when you’re no longer pregnant. If you are taking a drug that contains hCG (such as Pregnyl, Profasi, Pergonal, APL) you can get a false positive result. Drugs containing hCG usually clear your body two weeks post injection. Contraception, antibiotics, and painkillers should not affect results.

How do I know if the test was run properly?
As long as you see a line in the control (C) window, that means the test was run properly.

Can the result change?
A positive result will not change after the test is completed at 5 minutes but test results should not be interpreted after 15 minutes.

How accurate is the Juliet Pregnancy Test?
It's awesome. Clinical trials have shown that the test is more than 99% accurate from the day of your expected period.

How sensitive is the test?
The Juliet Pregnancy Test detects hCG at 10mIU/mL. We set out to source an early results and accurate pregnancy test that you can trust.

Ovulation Test

When should I use the Juliet Ovulation Test?
First determine the length of your cycle. This is the number of days from the first day of your period to the day before your next period. If your cycle length varies by several days from month to month, take the average number of days over the last three months. Refer to the chart below to determine your best day to test:

*day to take ovulation test, counting from the first day of your last period. For example, if your cycle is usually 28 days and the first day of your last period started on the 10th, you should start testing on the 21st.

I’m taking medication. Will that impact my results?

Maybe. Certain medications or medical conditions can impact results. If you were recently pregnant, are menopausal or taking hormones (including birth control), your results may not be accurate. Talk to your doctor if you are taking any medications.

Why didn’t the test detect an LH surge?

The LH surge may be too low to be detected or you may not have ovulated this cycle. Levels can fluctuate daily.

How do I know if the test was run properly?

As long as you see a line in the control (C) window, that means the test was run properly.

Can the result change?

A positive result will not change after the test is completed at 10 minutes but test results should not be interpreted after 30 minutes. To confirm a negative result, read the test between 10-20 minutes.

Can I use this test to prevent pregnancy?

Do not take this test to prevent pregnancy or as a form of contraception—it’s not. This test will not determine your fertility.

I think I’m pregnant already...

This test detects ovulation only. The Juliet Pregnancy Test is FDA-cleared to detect pregnancy 5 days before your missed period. For 99% accuracy, test up to 3 days before your expected period.

Does this test replace the basal body temperature method?

A rise in basal body temperature primarily indicates that ovulation has already occurred. Our ovulation test indicates that ovulation is about to occur.
